All students entering ECE programs must have an English assessment first. Please call or visit centennialcollege. Due to the nature of the ECE program, students must provide a recent Police Reference Check prior to each field practicum and required courses. A criminal record or charges pending before the courts in regard to crimes against vulnerable populations may determine eligibility for courses and completion of the program.

Pyramid Plus Approach Pyramid Plus Approach Pyramid Plus Approach Training is a hour course during which participants will learn specific strategies to enhance the social-emotional development of the children they work with, how and why to encourage inclusion, and how to better support children with challenging behavior.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be considered to have met the educational requirements for Early Childhood Guidance Strategies ECE in accordance with Division of Child Care rules regulating child care centers and family home licenses.

Continuing Education Units CEUs or College Course Credits at both the graduate and undergraduate level are also available through the University of Colorado Denver with the completion of additional coursework, assignments, and fees.
